Privacy
Short version: this site collects almost nothing, and the directories log outbound clicks so we know which listings are used.
This site (localguidepress.com)
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own and runs no scripts other than those needed to display the page. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and operations.
We may add Google Analytics 4 in the future. If we do, this page will say so, and GA4 will set its own cookies under Google's terms.
If you email editor@localguidepress.com, we keep the message so we can act on it and show our work if a correction is questioned. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your address.
Our directories
Local Guide Press directory sites (for example Sun Pool Guide) log outbound clicks on listings: which listing was clicked, when, and the page it was clicked from, together with standard server-log data. We use this to understand which listings are useful and to detect abuse. Each directory may carry its own privacy page with any additional detail that applies to that site.
Businesses listed on our directories
Listings are built from public records and from information businesses publish about themselves. If you are listed and want something corrected or removed, see how to contact the editor.
