The editor and the publisher
Jenna Payne, Research Editor
I'm Jenna Payne, research editor at Local Guide Press. My job on this site is unglamorous: I pull every listed business from public records, check each one against each state's contractor license register, read their websites so the service details are theirs and not ours, and mark what I could and couldn't confirm. Nothing here is a review. If a listing is wrong or out of date, email me and I'll fix it — usually within five business days.

Jenna signs the About page, the editorial standards, the methodology notes, and correction notices on every Local Guide Press title. She does not do interviews or social media. If you want to reach a person about a listing, email is the whole relationship, and she answers it.

The publisher
Local Guide Press is an imprint of Own the Answer Inc., 5342 Clark Road #1370, Sarasota, FL 34233.
Own the Answer Inc. is the publisher of record for every Local Guide Press title and is accountable for what appears on them. The imprint's job is narrow: build directories from public records, show what the record says, date every check, and fix mistakes quickly. Our editorial standards spell out the rules each site follows.
What we do not claim
- We do not inspect job sites, interview customers, or rate anyone's work.
- We do not say a business is "the best," "top rated," or "trusted."
